The Cadiz Christian Church was founded on August 1, 1842 by 24 people. After initially meeting in the courthouse, it wasn’t long before we moved to a log structure.
In 1852, we met with the Masons and agreed to construct a building that would be used by both groups. In 1892, a church building was constructed at the corner of Main and Madison, and the church continues to meet in the same building.
As a church we have sought to be a place where people of different beliefs can find a common ground on which to stand. We have through a variety of projects sought to serve the needs of our members and the needs of our community. In all that we do, we want people to know the grace of God.
